The ‘Quercy’ as it is commonly known, comprises of three departments; the Lot, Lot-et-Garonne and Tarn-et-Garonne. This fabulous region is situated in deep provincial South West France, although since Napoleonic times the name ‘Quercy’ has not officially existed.

The Lot, Tarn and Garonne rivers are major landmarks and around these you can explore the undulating hills and breathtaking views, dotted with small medieval hilltop villages built in the famous white stone of the Quercy.

For pure value, restaurants here are difficult to beat. Cooking is usually simple, fresh and delicious. Most menus include local produce such as duck, goose, lamb, pork, prunes, cepes, truffles and of course foie gras.
